The first Guangzhou Baiyun International Logistics Festival is about to be held, adding bricks and tiles to the construction of Guangzhou logistics cluster!
It is reported that on May 6, 2023, the first Guangzhou Baiyun International Logistics Festival was held at the International Hall of Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, with four main topics set up:
Firstly, based on a global perspective, explore the development and practical experience of North American multimodal transportation and the largest logistics industry cluster in Europe;
Secondly, leveraging local wisdom, industry representatives such as BYD, Ningde Times, and Huawei are expected to explore the path of global logistics supply chains in China;
Thirdly, all parties in the supply chain and industrial chain should discuss how to jointly build a "big transportation+big hub+big industry";
Fourthly, predict and assess the future development of global logistics clusters.
With the signal of economic recovery, the logistics industry in Guangzhou is accelerating. According to official data, in January of this year, the freight volume of Guangzhou city reached 52.26 million tons, and in February, the freight volume was about 64.88 million tons, showing a steady increase trend. Although the data for March has not yet been completed, I believe it is also a good answer sheet. Because the development of the logistics industry is the "backbone" of the market economy and the dynamic engine of urban development, Guangzhou has always been at the forefront of economic aggregate performance.
Guangzhou, which has spanned several generations as the Chinese commercial capital, has emerged with countless well-known overseas brands due to its unique geographical advantages. With the development of its developed trade and manufacturing industry, Guangzhou has also developed a logistics cluster that is distributed throughout the country. Especially in Baiyun District of Guangzhou, it has become the "largest logistics cluster area in China".
Moreover, with the upgrading of domestic industries and the export of industries, Guangzhou has begun to play a greater role in international logistics hubs, and logistics continues to inject new impetus into promoting the development of cross-border trade.
In order to effectively support the "dual circulation", Guangzhou has been accelerating the construction of an "international first-class logistics hub center" in recent years.
On August 25, 2021, Guangzhou released the 14th Five Year Plan for the Integrated Development of Transportation and Logistics in Guangzhou (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), which proposed a "5+10+N" logistics hub layout system, including 5 national logistics hub cities, 10 national logistics node cities, and N regional logistics centers, to achieve the integration and optimization of logistics resources. This layout system aims to build a modern logistics system centered around Guangzhou, improve logistics efficiency and service quality, and provide strong support for the development of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.
The construction of logistics clusters in Guangzhou will take Guangzhou Airport as the core, relying on transportation hubs such as Guangzhou South Station and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, to build an integrated logistics service system, promote the deep integration of airport and land logistics, achieve seamless connection between various nodes of international and domestic logistics clusters, and improve logistics efficiency and service quality.
At the same time, the construction of logistics clusters in Guangzhou will also develop multimodal transportation, promote the organic combination of various transportation modes such as railways, highways, and waterways, achieve seamless connection of logistics transportation, reduce logistics costs, and improve logistics efficiency.
In addition, the construction of logistics clusters in Guangzhou will also promote the deep integration of logistics and manufacturing, using logistics as a link to organically combine manufacturing and service industries, achieving coordinated development between logistics and manufacturing, and injecting new vitality into Guangzhou's economic development.
Chuji Logistics will actively sign up to participate in this logistics event and visit customers around Guangzhou again. Recently, Guangzhou successfully completed the transportation and delivery of bulk items from Guangzhou to Xingang Port, with a maximum size of 909 * 388 * 471cm per piece. The following picture shows the on-site transportation photos.
