Shanghai is home to the world's largest steel group China Baowu Group, the world's largest shipbuilding group China Shipbuilding Corporation, the world's largest automobile manufacturing group SAIC Motor, China's largest chip manufacturing company SMIC, and the world's leading biopharmaceutical company Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Group.
