The total cost of social logistics has fallen
The total social logistics in 2021 will be 335.2 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.2% and an average annual growth of 6.2% in the two years. The scale of logistics demand reached a new high, and the growth rate of total social logistics returned to the average level of normal years. From the perspective of the total social logistics structure, the logistics demand of equipment manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing is the main driving force for the recovery of industrial logistics. In addition, consumer logistics for people's livelihood has maintained steady growth. Under the influence of the epidemic, e-commerce and online shopping have become important channels for residents' consumption.
In 2021, the complex and severe international environment and the frequent occurrence of domestic epidemics will force my country to accelerate the improvement of logistics operation efficiency and supply chain response level. In 2021, the total cost of social logistics will be 16.7 trillion yuan, and the ratio to GDP will be 14.6%, down 0.1 percentage points from the previous year.
