On August 18-21, 2023, the Asia Europe Business Expo/New Energy Cooperation Promotion and Roundtable Conference was successfully held in Urumqi, Xinjiang.
The Eurasian Expo is a national and international comprehensive large-scale exhibition jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and other units. It has been held for seven consecutive sessions. More than 300 guests from government departments, international institutions, state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, universities and research institutions, and business associations attended the conference. The Water Resources and Electric Power Material Circulation Association, as a strategic collaborative unit, participated in the conference, with representatives from more than 30 member enterprises of the association attending.
The conference adopts the approach of "opening ceremony+thematic dialogue" and integration of online and offline, with a focus on promoting cooperation and exchange in the fields of photovoltaics, wind power, energy storage, hydrogen energy, and financing.
At the meeting, experts and enterprise representatives from institutions and colleges such as the General Institute of Hydropower and Water Resources Planning and Design, Shanghai Electric Power University, etc. gave special speeches on energy transformation under the background of carbon neutrality, Central Asia new energy cooperation, China Kazakhstan new energy cooperation, China Ukraine new energy cooperation, and exchanged policies and markets on international cooperation in new energy.

During the dialogue on green logistics in Central Asia, experts from China Water Conservancy and Electric Power Material Circulation Association, Sichuan Oriental Logistics, Xinjiang Yaxin Company, Kashgar Jinlida, Milkewei, Chuji Logistics and other enterprises discussed the competitiveness, supply chain value, opportunities and challenges of the green logistics industry in Central Asia in the era of parity.

During the conference, the Development and Reform Commission of Hashi, Hami, and Tacheng in Xinjiang organized a special promotion activity for new energy cooperation among enterprises, covering new energy equipment, hydrogen energy, energy storage, energy efficiency improvement, and international cooperation. Discussions were conducted on the competitiveness, supply chain value, opportunities and challenges of each industry.
